Description:Dandelion is a very common perennial of roadsides and fields. It is a weed of lawns. There are many similar species of Dandelion. The flowers only open in full sunlight.

Flowering between March and September, it can grow to a height of 35cm.

This example was found growing at Armitage in Staffordshire by Henry Reader.
