Description:This Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in the late 1870s. It was named in honour of Jabez Bunting (1779-1858), a prime mover in the organisation of the Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Mr E. Mountford remembers:
"I attended this Chapel with my mother and father this was in the 50's. My mother Mary Street played the harmonium organ for the services taken there. My mother and father were married there and attended this chapel until it was closed then they went on to attend the Methodist chapel at Marchington and later at Draycott-in-the-Clay Methodist Chapel. My happy memories of decorating the chapel for the Harvest Festival with bracken and autumal flowers of dahlias, michaelmas daisies and all flowers brought from local gardens with vegetables of all kind including the giant marrows, gives me a feeling of community."
