Description:This photograph shows the rear end of a "special" train, operated as a day trip for enthusiasts by Ian Allen and the Potteries Express on the 9th May 1959.

The coach had large viewing windows at the rear, offering superb views of the countryside as it travelled along.

The train was steam hauled, and this photograph shows the train at Leek station.
