Description:Watercolour painting by John Muswell. A view of Greengate as it would have been in the mid 19th century. The shop in the foreground was Jenkinson's bakers and confectioners (The Old Pork Pie Shop). Next door was the Woolpack Inn, demolished to make way for the Baths Hotel in the 1890s. In the distance can be seen Chetwynd House (later the main Post Office) built in 1712-15 by William Chetwynd and the top of St. Mary's church tower.
