Description:Cardigan suit of beige wool, knitted in a boucle pattern typical of the early 1960s. The straight skirt has an elasticated rib knit waistband and is lined with acetate. Box jacket with attractive black glass and metal buttons; neckline and cuffs trimmed with silk braid faggoting. The jap silk lining was almost certainly puut in by Mrs Kulczycki. Lady Bagot wore this suit with a fine knit beige wool sweater; sleeveless and with a roll neck, purchased at the same time. Labelled: 'Harrods London. made in Italy. 90% wool 10% nylon.' Jumber labelled: '100% wool. made in Italy. U.K. size 12'.
