Description:Pillaton Hall was rebuilt in brick by the Littleton family in the late 15th century, on the moated site of an earlier hall. Only the gatehouse range now remains, the rest having been largely demolished, except for chimney stacks, in the second half of the 18th century. The gatehouse range was restored by Lord Hatherton between 1884 and 1888, and again in 1976.
