Description:Replacing the thatched roof of 'Oldcroft', the home of the Norbury family, Acton Trussell.

The thatcher is securing bunches of Norfolk reed by hammering in a nine-inch spike. The reed will later be dressed to provide a neat and weatherproof finished.
