Description:Ann Illidge, nee Ann Phillips, was the first Rose Queen at Christ Church in 1950.

This is the outcome of a reminiscence session in which Year 4 pupils from Christ Church First School were divided into groups and paired with a person from The Monday Club, a club for former pupils of the school during the 1950's. The Monday Club member was interviewed about school life, including the Rose Queen ceremony. Then each group had to chose an image that they liked out of a selection from the school's album.
