Description:The Darlaston Cafe stood on the eastern side of the Stoke-on-Trent to Stone road (the A34) close to the Darlaston Inn. Opened in 1929 by Donald Campbell, it was one of a number of road-side cafés and petrol stations on the stretch of road between Tittensor and Stone. It was later known as Silver Birches Cafe and is now (2022) part of R M Commercials.
