Description:This view shows Uttoxeter Road. On the right is the original Post Office, with a telegram boy and his bicycle outside.

On the left is at the base of the telegraph pole is a wall which used to mark the boundary between Blyth Marsh and Blythe Bridge. It was a hazard as it straddled the pavement and was removed in the 1950's.
