Description:This photograph was taken in the car park of The Bull. The commander is 'Colonel' Parkes, who lived at Oaken. After the war he became a a leader of the local council. The 24th Staffs (Tettenhall) B.N. Home Guard changed name frequently during the war. Initially the Codsall Company, then the No 6 Company, then the "F" Company and finally, the "A" Company.
