Description:Twins Danuta and Anna Smialowska in Polish national costume for the unveiling of the Polish Club plaque, which was performed by Hugh Fraser, M.P. for Stafford and Stone

The Polish Club, or White Eagle Club, was on the corner of Riverway and Lichfield Road. The building was formerly used as the English Electric Apprentices' Club. In the mid-1990s a new clubhouse was built on Riverway.
