Date:1910

Description:Entry in the annual Stafford Pageant, seen on the corner of Siemens Road (Sabine Street is in the background). The float is a copy of an early Biplane built around two bicycles which was probably inspired by the London to Manchester Air Race, which passed over Stafford in 1910.

Also shown are two entrants dressed as a Scotsman and an Irishman.

A prize was awarded to the best decorated float, and along the route a collection was made for Stafford General Infirmary.
