Description:Square panel of embroidery mounted in a square panel of machine made lace.
Lace embroidered with criss cross pattern in gold and green silk. Embroidered central panel of blue and white blossom, green stems and leaves. Long and short stitch used. Edges of petals couched with gold thread. Embroidered border around panel in gold and white short and long stitch with buttonhole stitch in green. Edges couched with gold thread. Reverse of mat backed with cream silk.
