Description:Welfare Foods Campaign in the Midland Region, which took place in the Food Office on Mount Street. The campaign was to encourage mothers to claim free cod liver oil and orange juice for their children.

On the front row, from left to right, are Mrs Laidlar (Voluntary Welfare Foods Distributor), Mr K. Amies (Food Executive Officer), Mayor of Stafford Alderman C.E. Fowke, who was also the Chairman of the Food Control Committee, and Dr H. B. Binks, Medical Officer.
