Crowd scene at Hademore Crossing
Crowd scene at Hademore Crossing

Date: 23 April 1910

Description: Grahame-Whites biplane can be seen here surrounded by a substantial crowd that had gathered to see the aircraft. The enterprising owner of the field reportedly charged 2d for entry to the field.

The soldiers pictured here are probably from the nearby Whittington Barracks.
